Hello, and welcome to my portfolio. My name is Jacob and I am a photojournalist based out of Calgary, Alberta.
As a recent graduate with a diploma in photojournalism from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, I have obtained the technical skills to capture strong and creative images during difficult situations.
While my portfolio continues to evolve, I enjoy the challenges that all genres of photography entail. No matter the subject, I am confident, either working along-side clients, or independently, to provide professional quality work, on schedule.
Often, I take a break from the city to enjoy hiking in the Rocky Mountains with my dogs, Max and Molly. The mountains encourage my creative process while helping to restore balance within my body of work.
